Anne D. Pile is a registered nurse and legal nurse consultant who works with our Military Medical Malpractice Attorneys team.
With over 15 years of experience as a bedside clinical RN and more than a decade as a legal nurse consultant, she brings medical expertise, passion for patient advocacy, and an inside understanding of the health care field to the team at Military Medical Malpractice Attorneys.
As a legal nurse consultant for Military Medical Malpractice Attorneys, Ms. Pile reviews medical records and tracks documentation throughout the legal process in order to assemble a clear and comprehensive picture of a patient’s medical history and treatment. She also performs medical literature research and works closely with the Military Medical Malpractice Attorneys team during trial preparation and proceedings.
Prior to founding her own legal nurse consulting company, Elite Legal Nurses, Ms. Pile worked as an in-house nurse consultant. Before entering the nurse consulting field, she worked as a cardiac monitor technician and nursing assistant and then as a level III staff RN at Washington County Hospital in Hagerstown, Maryland (now called Meritus Medical Center).
Although she was born in New Orleans, Ms. Pile has called Maryland her home for more than 35 years. She cites her family background as the early source of her passion for both nursing and the law: her father was an FBI agent and her mother was a nurse. She considers her current career in legal nurse consulting “the best of both worlds.”
